Holly Kimmel is an experienced litigator, focusing her practice on complex business litigation and family law matters. As a firm believer in continuously enhancing her legal skills, Ms. Kimmel participated in extensive mediation training and is a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Meditator in the State of Florida. She also earned a master's degree in social work and became certified as a coach to better understand and assist her clients in both family law and business disputes.
Holly graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1987 with a B.S. in Telecommunications, and she obtained her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California in 1990. While in law school, she was an Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review and a Merit Scholar. Holly earned her Masters in Social Work from Barry University in Miami, Florida, in 2005.
After graduating from law school, Holly focused her practice on family law and commercial litigation with the law firm of Cole, Schotz PC, in New Jersey. Upon moving to Florida, in 193, she became an associate at Greenberg Traurig in Fort Lauderdale. After several years, Holly left the firm to work part-time for local family law attorneys while raising her daughters. In 2009, she returned full-time to the practice of law working at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd for nine years. Her practice focused on highly complex class action matters from inception to settlement. Holly is admitted to practice in the State Courts in Florida and New Jersey, and all three U.S. District Courts in Florida.
Holly is passionate about traveling and immersing herself in different cultures, outdoor adventures, and spending time with her now-adult daughters. She devotes her spare time to coaching women through their divorce and rebuilding their lives.
